Can I backup my iPhone to Mac without a cable?

Is there a way of backing up my iPhone to my Mac without cord?

Every search for this comes with Yes answer and step one is 'connect your phone to Mac with USB cord'.

Lightning jack on my iPhone is not working.

Thanks

The initial connection to a Mac must be with a cable. Then, subsequent backups can be performed wirelessly. The reason is that it's necessary to communicate with the iMac first, so that you can select "Show this iPhone when on Wi-Fi". Make sense?

Try another Lightning cable if you haven't already. Cable failures are much more common than Lightning port failures.
