Ads before Dstv streams on Apple TV, not on Samsung Tizen or Android

Hi all... long story short: I'm using the Dstv app on Apple and everytime I click on a tv series or movie to stream it shows a short advert which you can skip after about 5 seconds. This does not happen on Samsung's Tizen or even Android platform. Dstv is a paid service, so it should not display ads. This only happens on my Apple TV device. Am I missing something? I've tried the internet searching for answers, but it seems it's not a common issue. Any help, please?
