type symbol for Euro on iPad

Dependent upon your Keyboard regionalisation settings, the € symbol should be accessible directly from the on-screen keyboard:

By example:

Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards - English (UK) selected

On a smaller iPad with a more limited keyboard, € will be found via press and hold on the $ key on the 123 level.

€ is easier to just do it from the keyboard rather than changing your keyboard settings.
