Full stop and comma not displaying on iPad keyboard after 18.2 update

I updated my iPad 18.2 this morning and there is no longer a full stop or comma displayed on the keyboard! Fortunately they are still on the unshifted ! and ? keys

iPad Pro on-screen keyboard not typing shift characters Recently (presumably after an iOS update) my iPad Pro’s on-screen keyboard is malfunctioning. When I touch and hold a key that has a shift character (eg 7 has the shift character “&” on my UK keyboard) the & appears next to my finger, but when I release the key the 7 appears in the text. This is true for all keys showing a shift character. I’ve rebooted, and gone through the keyboard settings, but nothing seems to shift it - pun intended.

iOS 18.3 keyboard issues on iPad Air (A2902) since updating my ipad air, model A2902, to ios 18.3, i am having issues with the on-screen keyboard. The numeric key is not staying on.. it reverts back to alpha in less than a second. Also, typing is erratic.. missing or dropping keystrokes. ipad on screen keyboard typing double letters why is my ipad on screen keyboard typing double letters? I have tried multiple reboots, cleaning screen, cleaning hands, deliberrrrateelly (ok there’s the example, I’ll leave others in as they appear ) typing very lightlyc and very slowly, checked all typing related accessibility options like key repeat, all are off.. iPad is updated to latest iOOS. Any ideas?

This issue was fixed by turning the iPad to landscape mode and back to portrait!
