Control+Command+F doesn’t work anymore

I have a 13 inch iPad Pro with a Magic Keyboard and i use stage manager a lot, and i usually use the Control+command+f shortcut to go into full screen on the app im using. However that shortcut completely stopped doing anything and also clicking the three dots on the top of the app and clicking “Enter Full Screen” doesn’t do anything either. The app just jiggles a little and doesn’t go to full screen. Ive tried everything from hard resetting the iPad to removing the ipad from the keyboard and putting it back and also going into settings to see if anything has changed. Nothing changed except i updated to 18.2. Is there a fix or a tweak i can do or is this shortcut just not available anymore?
