Hi, anyone experienced problems or performance issues about receiving gmail via Apple mail apps post updating to ios 18.2? I have the same setup on Mac mini and iphone 14 pro, but sometimes the gmail account could not be synced (not receiving new mails) on iphone, seems working fine on Mac.

no for both. The interesting thing is more on and off or some setup impact the others.
I have several outlook emails and 2 gmails setup on both mac and iphone. For the problem about gmail, seems if I send myself an email between 2 gmails, iphone can get the email as well. If an email is coming from elsewhere, only Mac got it.

They need to fix it. They screwed up Gmail on this release. I wonder if they ever do Regression Testing. Does not seem like it for the amount of things their releases break. Does not speak well for them.

Yes, THEY (meaning Google, who owns and operates Gmail) has to fix the product. This has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Apple.

Nothing to do with Apple? This only occurred after an apple update ….. an update that reconfigured emails… this is 100% Apple’s fault. I’m experiencing all sorts of problems all directly related to the update.
Well, I have no problems. How long has this been happening? gmail had a partial outage recently.
probably 2 days or so. Guess not quite related to the outage you mentioned, coz i could get your reply on my Mac but NOT on iphone.
I am having had the same issues after I updated to iOS 8.2 on iPhone 13 pro. I have tried all of the suggested solutions provided here or on google search, nothing works so far.

I'm having the same issue with my Yahoo account. I went in and switched to list on the individual account and it did it. Doesn't look like it's just a Gmail issue. Thanks for the tip ftn1313!
