Ad blocker extensions on Safari (iOS 18.2 and MacOS 15.2) not working

After upgrading, I notice that ad blocker extensions on both platforms don't seem to work. I have AdGuard, Magic Lasso and 1Blocker - all failed to block ads (try Slashdot.org).

Firefox, with Ublock Origin, works.

HELP.

Annoying Pop up adds in Safari I really want to use Safari, however I cannot stand all the annoying pop up ads. I have been told to download an Ad Blocking app, and that this would stop the annoying pop ups. There are no pop up ads when i use Firefox, because AD blocking is built in. I trust Apple software, I would rather not have to download, and trust some third party app. Hope Apple will include natively Ad blocking in future OS updates.
