How to track when an account was added to my Apple Pay without my consent?

I'm reaching out to find out if Apple can help me track down the date and time when a certain account was linked to my Apple Pay for fund transfers. Recently, I discovered that an account from Bancorp Bank was added to my wallet without my consent or any prior connection to that bank. How is it possible that a random account could be linked to my wallet without me receiving any verification or notification about it? I’d love to get some clarity on this situation. Thanks for your help!

File a police report for identity theft and fraud with your local police department, get copies of your credit reports and contest the fraudulent account(s). The police will need a court order for Apple to provide any related material to the police.

The two possible scenarios are your Apple Account (formerly Apple ID) was compromised or another account was compromised and your personal identity was compromised. It could be a combination of both.

I recommend changing your Apple Account password.
