Separate volume controls for apps

When will Apple be providing a volume control panel for embedded apps? This is way overdue!

Nobody can answer "when" questions here as none of us have any inside information. Your only option is to send feedback to Apple here.

Product Feedback - Apple

Currently each app developer can offer a volume control for their apps, and it is not difficult at all. I have done it with many of my apps due to users requesting the feature. You can also contact the developer of the App to request the feature as well.

It may be a little confusing to users when you have a global System volume, and each app can set their own volume, and then also have system level volume control over each app. This has been proven to be a problem for users on the Android Support forum where there is a volume control at the system level for each individual app.

In my opinion, if you want to change the volume level of an app, it should be done right in the app and provided by the developer. It makes no sense to exit an app to go to a System Setting to change the volume for the app that you are currently using.
