Can I have separate volume controls for ringer,notifications and sound on iPhone 15?

Yes, sort of. There are 4 places that can have independent volume settings:


  • Ringer and Notifications (they share a setting)
  • Phone calls
  • Siri
  • Apps


You adjust the volume when using these functions with the Volume buttons. To adjust the ringer use the buttons when viewing the Home screen. Similarly, adjust when on a phone call. For Siri, ask Siri something and while it is replying adjust the volume.


Apps are a little different. There is a default volume for apps, that you adjust while using any app. But the app developer has the option to override that default setting, and many apps do, such as YouTube.
