Iphone 15 battery health

I purchased my ip 15 on 22 oct 24, on around 14 nov the battery health goes to 99 percent in just 25 cycle count .After just 1 week it went to 98 percent with only 32 cycle count so I complained the issue to the apple customer care. They just told that everything is fine in your iphone 15 after some tests. After around 20 days, on today 16 dec it went to 97 percent with just 56 count.

acc to apples claim the battery health will go down to 80 percent in 1000 cycle count. Now simple maths says that 97 percent health should be shown on 150 cycle counts . I don’t know whats wrong with the iphone 15 revolutionary battery.My battery drains too quickly too 😭😭, i have to care about my battery % all the time , I can’t even watch a movie on my phone during travel, due to battery drainage issue, i was good with my android, i was able to do anything, anywhere without even caring about the battery percentage on android.

I use original apple adapter with original cable and only charges to 80 percent limit and blah-blah.

Keep in mind, Apple's advertisement that retains 80% battery health in 1000 charge cycles is under "ideal conditions." We do not know what that means specifically.

Keep in mind, all rechargeable lithium-ion batteries degrade over time, and differently. Under normal conditions, you can expect your battery to degrade at about 1% a month, or 25 charge cycles. The decline of your battery health also isn't linear, meaning some months you will lose more than expected, and other months none at all. So you can't expect your battery to keep declining at this rate. In the case it does, and it gets below 80% in a year, you will get a free battery replacement.

There is no "simple math" that can be applied to battery performance. They are chemically reactive devices that begin degrading the moment they are assembled. That degradation is not at all linear. It tends to be fast when the device is new, then slow down significantly. The battery health of my iPhone 14 fell to 96% in just a few months, then took another year to reach 90%.

If your battery health is still above 80% one year after purchase, then it is functioning normally. If not, then Apple will replace it under warranty.

The best way to manage Battery Health is to not worry about it.
