iPhone 12 mini 1x camera cannot focus properly; image is blurry

As title.

There's an example picture using the 1x lens, very blurry

Using the 2x lens: works fine

Using the camera from other apps (e.g. Instagram): sometimes works fine.

1x camera is blurry during days as well.

I have been using this phone for almost 2 years, and I have never had any issues. And ever since the update a few months ago, I have started to have this painful issue. And I'm not the only one having this. I have reasons to believe this is a software issue. I truly hope Apple can address this in the next update.
