This Netflix support article suggests that the offline viewing feature is not available on Macs and PCs – only on mobile devices, and on Chromebooks.

I searched the Mac App Store for "Netflix", in case it was possible to download and run the Netflix iPad app on a Mac with Apple Silicon, but nothing turned up. Netflix apparently hasn't given Apple permission to offer the app (whether for compatibility / performance reasons, or other reasons, I don't know).
I was hoping to be able to download movies when I do not have the internet. Going to the webpage doesn't let me do that. At least I couldn't see how to do it like I do on my iPad.
