Sharing a keyboard between Apple devices

Will I be able to use one Apple Magic Keyboard on both a Mac Mini and an iPad Air? I have tried to use my Logitech 650 wireless keyboard with both devices and switching between them, but it isn’t working. It doesn’t seem possible to connect both devices via Bluetooth at the same time. I have some files only on the Mac Mini and most others on the iPad Air, thus the need to switch between them on the same desk, sometimes at the same time.

Will an Apple Magic Keyboard solve this problem? I don’t want to spend the money if it won’t help.

Thanks

Okay, well, that is what I am experiencing so far. Thanks for confirming that. I’m wasting time, though, trying to pair when I want to switch because the MacBook Air, particularly, will not find the Logitech 650 if it has recently been paired to the Mac Mini, even if it has been disconnected from the Mac Mini and the Mac Mini is powered down. Yes, I could use the keyboard on the MacBook Air, but as I age my fingers don’t work as well on the smaller keyboard on the MacBook Air. I really like the wider, larger keyboards such as the Logitech 650 and the Magic Keyboard.

I’m trying not to have two wireless keyboards on my desk because I am an author and I usually have multiple pages of research, file, and reference books on my desk to refer to while I am writing. My issue, of course, but I’m just trying to find some way to help myself.

Thanks again.
