Recently, someone knocked my bottle onto my macbook spilling water onto the keyboard. Although it is working fine as of the next day I have had past experiences with water corroding laptop components weeks later, and was wondering if anyone knows roughly how much apple would charge for opening it up and checking for the presence of water?

To my knowledge, Apple will not open a Mac just to check for water infiltration. If that is deemed necessary, they'll approach it as if it actually needs repair and charge accordingly, though you can make an appointment at an Apple Store or authorized service center and discuss it with them. Nothing for an inspection but replacing the base components will be quite expensive.
