RCS not working for one contact

I have my iPhone set to use RCS messages. My one contact has an android and I have been using RCS messaging with them but not it’s switched to SMS. Every other android contact I have it shows RCS messaging. I have my RCS switch enabled. How do I switch back that one contact to RCS messages?

RCS switching back and forth to SMS after 18.1.1 update I’m using the iPhone 13 Pro Max, currently running 18.1.1. My phone auto updated the other night and now I can only receive RCS messages from Android/Google contacts, but any messages I send will automatically switch to SMS. I’ve checked my settings and with my carrier and both support RCS and are turned on. This wasn’t an issue until the update - and this happens regardless of how good my signal is or where I am. I believe it’s just a bug, but is there any way to fix it? I tried restarting and shutting down, but it didn’t work. Yesterday it began working for a few hours before it failed again. I’ve confirmed that all settings are correct, and it’s just annoying to be able to receive RCS but my own messages send as SMS.

iPhone with iOS 18.1.1 switches from RCS back to SMS my iPhone was sending RCS to android/Google Messages Users with no issues. iPhone upgraded to iOS 18.1.1 and now it seems to switch from RCS back to SMS. I can receive messages in RCS, though the reply is sent vis SMS. A reboot seems to fix it for a time, but then goes back to SMS. This can happen when at home, or out and about. so I don't think its a funny Cell tower. What can I do to troubleshoot this further?
