Scanning QR code on the same iPhone

Is it possible to scan a QR code from the device that I need the QR code on if the QR code is on the device?

Scanning QR codes on iPhone using screenshots I have had QR codes sent to my iPhone to access info/data on more than one occasion, but how am I supposed to scan a code thats on my phone WITH THAT VERY SAME PHONE?!? Maybe screenshot? But then how can it be read/processed? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Take a screenshot of the QR code and Firmly Press the QR code from the Photos app.
