My watch won't ring and i cannot send or receive calls since i bought the new iPhone. Is there a glitch in the software? Apple says that it should be supported. Help?

My Series 6 Apple Watch works just fine with my iPhone 16 Pro. So it's not a global incompatibility, anyway. Have you tried restarting your Watch and iPhone? And are both the Watch and your iPhone on the most current updates?
thank you ... i restarted both and now i am getting calls on my watch, texts.....
but i did have to stop the AI feature on my phone for my watch to work with my watch...
