I want to reset my phone and start over but don’t want to lose my files and media that are stored in my Cloud. Is it true that when it’s in the cloud it’s there forever, like that one movie stated😅 ifykyk

Yes you can, as soon as you set up the phone again you sign in with your Apple account you reconnect.
Any photos or files not sync'd to iCloud will disappear. You might want to visit iPhone, Settings, [tap your name], iCloud, [show all] and ensure everything is turned on.

PS data is in iCloud "forever" unless
iCloud is not a permanent backup though some data has a 30 day recently deleted store, but not all.
