ATT MISTAKENLY reported my iPhone as lost/stolen and won’t fix jt

This has been the most infuriating consumer experience I have ever had.

i bought my iPhone 13max 3y ago with Apple brand new. I have been a T-Mobile customer for 10y.

10 days ago my phone went SOS. After hours and hours on the phone with T-Mobile and Apple we determined ATT erroneously blocked my iPhone and reported it lost or stolen. I have spent hours at their store, on the phone and filed every report they have asked. ATT refuses to change it.

i have filed the following reports:

-fraud report ATT

-police report that ATT stole my ability to use my phone

-FCC complaint

-better business bureau complaint

no one will help me. It is the most infuriating situation.

can anyone please help me?

Hi,

AT&T can be a tough nut to crack.

Here’s what I’d recommend at this point. Please write an email to the CEO, Mr John Stanley. You can Google to find his email.

You will get an email reply and possibly a phone call. In the email you want to be as concise as possible. Briefly present a timeline of events and include as attachments the documents you have. If you have any contacts at T-Mobile please include a phone number.

The tone of the email needs to be professional but with a small amount of the frustration at end. Never threaten or have a threatening tone. Lastly, include what you consider an acceptable solution.

That’s it. Expect an email or phone call within 5 to 7 days. But it could be longer due to the holidays.

Please let us know how it works out.
