Stopping iPhone backup from asking to trust my computer.

I made the mistake of turning on iPhone backup over WiFi.

How do I turn off backup over WiFi , so my iPhone does not ask me if I want to trust my computer EACH AND EVERY time I plug the iPhone in to charge via wall charger?

I'm fine with backup over a cable, as it used to be, but cannot figure out how to stop the iPhone backup over WiFi asking if I want to trust my computer every two days.

It asks to trust my computer even if I'm on a different floor of my house. I'm tired of the nagging!

Tap on the Finder icon on your Mac, and select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left panel.

Under Options, remove the check mark in the box next to Show this iPhone when on Wi-Fi

Probably you are referring to Sync over WiFi. That is not backup.

Uncheck the box next to "Show this iPhone when on Wi-Fi."

Note: You can also connect iPhone to your computer wirelessly if you set up syncing over Wi-Fi.

Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your computer or another device. Enter your passcode, if you have one, to unlock your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. If you want to allow your computer to access information on your device, select your device in the Finder or in the Apple Devices app, and click Trust.

After entering my password the window says "Syncing - Backing up."

I clicked my iPhone and a window opened, then it asked me to enter my password to trust my computer, but after entering my password, neither the Finder menu nor the iPhone window has an Options button or menu item.

How do I find Options?
