Grainy low light pictures on my Iphone 16 Pro.

When I take pictures and film in low light conditions, specially with the telephoto lens, the pictures are very grainy and of less quality than my previous iPhone 13 Pro. Can I do something about this, or is it maybe a problem with the telephoto lens? The pictures look more digitally cropped than a real optical zoom photo.
