Animation stretching in Final Cut Pro

Hello, I've published an animated title in apple motion. When I open FCP, and I drag the tile and stretch it a little to have the text appear longer, it also change the pace of the animation. I don't want that, so I know about the markers in motion and set them to "Build In mandatory and Build out mandatory but it still doest not work, it stretches the duration of the animation.

Is there a bug or do other people experience that?

Any help is appreciated!! thanks

The part of the title from start to the build-in marker has a fixed duration, and so does the part from build-out to the end. The middle part will stretch or shrink as necessary.

For example, suppose your Motion title is set to 10 seconds and the first and last sections are 1 second each. Then the middle section is 8 seconds.

Now if you put this in a FCP project and extend to 20 seconds, the correct behavior is that the build-in and build-out animations will still take 1 second each, and middle section will be 18 seconds - therefore any animations there will be more twice as slow.

If that is not what you are experiencing, could you elaborate a bit more, and maybe share some screenshots of your Motion timeline? Or even share the Motion project so we can test?
