How to verify transactions in Chime Account?

When i attempted to pay my brother it read “payment failed” and he hasnt recieved any money but the money has been taken out of my chime account; we’re at home together right now trying to figure out where my money is.

Just got off the phone with Chime support. They confirmed that the transaction went through on their end to Apple Cash, and advised me that Apple Cash may still be processing it to either return it to my account or forward it on to brother. Any thoughts?

You’re right, it is Apple Cash. I send him money that way all the time, through the messages app on my iphone. I tried to send the money and there was a little red ‘x’ and it said “payment failed” and went on to say that Apple Cash wasn’t working. I then received a notification from my chime that I had just spent $98.57. I went to my Chime the transactions right there I’m flipping between apps looking at it right now. I sent him (my little brother) $100 (the same way) after the failed payment and everything went through, so we’re lost as to where the $98.57 is; we’re looking at his phone in our messages there is no $ 98.57 sent to him. But it clearly shows that I sent him $100 an hour later. All $198.57 have been taken out of my Chime (in the two separate transactions explained above).
