AirPod Pros 2 hearing aid technology availability in Australia

I purchases my AirPod Pros 2 to take advantage of the hearing aid technology but found this technology isn’t available here in Australia. I enquired with the Australian TGA and they said I needed to ask Apple. Can Apple please provide me with an idea when I can expect this. I am elderly and I don’t have years. Thank you
