AirPod Pro 2 hearing aid function in the UK

OK. Sorry I do not have iOS 18.3 handy to verify (or disprove) it for you. Felt sure I'd read somewhere it was now available in UK ... wasn't able to locate where, though I back-tracked. (NB: Seems this update also turns on Apple Intelligence (AI), unless it has been turned off in a previous iOS version.)

"Well it’s somehow working for me. I’m uk based, using 18.3 on AirPod firmware version 7B21. After the software update I connected my AirPods, went into their settings via the settings menu and the hearing assistance option now shows either ability to set up as hearing aids."

Seems it may be available now with the iOS 18.3 update recently released. (About iOS 18 Updates - Apple Support)

(Reminder: it is always wise to back-up your iPhone before updating )

I don’t believe it is yet - Apple said ‘within the coming weeks’……….
