Connecting to WiFi after Reset on MacBook Air

After resetting and erasing my 2018 MacBook Air, I get the spinning globe and the ‘Choose Network’ dropdown, which includes my home network. After selecting it and entering the password, I only get the spinning wheel for an indefinite amount of time without connecting. I need to get this resolved and would like to reinstall MacOS. Ideas?

I have to manually connect to wifi every time I use my Macbook air 2013. Auto-join is on. No one else in my house has this problem. There is nothing wrong with the wifi, the router has been reset, I have powered on and off, and I have tried deleting the network and then re-adding it. I am very frustrated!

Can't get Mac to forget a wifi network Hello! I have a MacBook Pro 2017 running Ventura, and it can't seem to forget a wifi network. I was given a temporary login for this wifi network, and now that I have an official login, I was trying to get my laptop to forget the network so I could login to the wifi with my new credentials. This path of forgetting the network and logging back in worked fine on my iPhone and iPad, but my Mac will not forget the wifi network no matter what I do. I tried turning off auto-join (it keeps getting automatically turned back on), manually forgetting the network, restarting the computer, &c. Anyone have any suggestions?

How do I prevent my MacBook Pro from connecting to another device for Wi-Fi? It's not often, but it's regular enough that when I boot my Mac up to start working, whether or not an internet connection is involved, it tries to "connect" to my WiFi network through another device, therefore killing the connection until I either switch to another network (which isn't always effective) or turn off the WiFi connection myself (again, not always effective, but better than the previous option). My MacBook Pro has OS Sequoia version 15.3. I originally had an Air 13 before this, and never encountered this issue. It is not impacting anything for my work itself, granted, but it has become a severe annoyance. How on earth do I prevent my Mac from c"onnecting to another device to use a wifi connection" that doesn't work? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
