How do I prevent my MacBook Pro from connecting to another device for Wi-Fi?

It's not often, but it's regular enough that when I boot my Mac up to start working, whether or not an internet connection is involved, it tries to "connect" to my WiFi network through another device, therefore killing the connection until I either switch to another network (which isn't always effective) or turn off the WiFi connection myself (again, not always effective, but better than the previous option).

My MacBook Pro has OS Sequoia version 15.3. I originally had an Air 13 before this, and never encountered this issue. It is not impacting anything for my work itself, granted, but it has become a severe annoyance.

How on earth do I prevent my Mac from c"onnecting to another device to use a wifi connection" that doesn't work?

Go into the Network System Settings and forget the WiFi connection that is causing you problems.
