Deep Scratches on the Bottom Case of the Macbook Pro Near the Battery

I realized there is deep scratches on bottom case of the Macbook Pro. The scratches are deep and on the part of the cover that comes to the battery. When I touch the scratches, I can feel them. I have no idea what caused these scratches. Is the battery of the device scratched? Is the battery damaged?

sometimes when the battery is not doing well, it can swell. This pushes the center of the bottom case closer to the desk, and in severe cases, can eventually cause a shiny worn spot on the bottom cover.

if your battery is showing signs of swelling, you should get it serviced.

As @DesignPro22 mentions there is nothing to worry about. Those are just scratches or perhaps gouges from some metal object. If these gouges were not there when you received the laptop, then most likely the laptop was set on some object and slid across it. If it was there from the factory, then most likely one of the machines ended gouging the Bottom Case.
