Mouse Keys not working

I tried to activate mouse keys, but when I get the window to confirm "Use Mouse Keys / Cancel" I can only cancel; hitting the blue "Use Mouse Keys" just flashes but does nothing.

Also I am unable to control the mouse using 7, 8, 9, U, O, J, K, L (Don't have a numpad).

I am physically impaired so would love to not have to use a mouse when using the computer.

My computer is an M4 Mac mini with Sequoia 15.1.1.

If anyone could solve this that would be awesome

Review the following Apple Support article to see if anything there helps.

Plus updating from 15.1.1 to 15.2 might also fix.

This is if you have a Logitech mouse ( and keyboard)

i use a big old trackball from kensington, i find it’s easier on my wrists and hand overall, it’s more expensive at a bit over $99 , but it’s well built, has 4 large customizable buttons, customizable software/application, can be used via bluetooth or USB dongle ( which is included, along with some fresh AA batteries) … just my opinion though… you’d also have to play around with the Accessibility setting( s) under System Preferences..

sorry, jamison213 but it’s a swing and a miss from me
