I was doing the Software Update on my iMac, the new Sequoia and meanwhile it was downloading it there appeared several stripes on the display and now I can’t do anything on it. Whether cancel it nor shut it completely down. What should I do or how can I force it to restart. Thanks for answers

See if it finishes the update give it an hour or so then returns to normal. If it's frozen for a long time hold the power button down until it turns off and try to turn it on again and see what happens.
Thank you for those tips, but unfortunately nothing of it worked, and when I turned it off, it just changed the color of the stripes.
Vertical bars or stripes usually indicate a hardware failure...usually a faulty LCD Panel.
