Can I restore removed shows from Up Next/Continue Watching?

Ok so I started watching a purchased TV show. I accidentally clicked it to be removed from Up Next. Well, no biggie, I assumed when I started watching again it would just return. Yet I have watched almost an entire season since then and it still has not shown up on Up Next. I have made sure that the software is up to date, and have restarted the Apple TV. I attempted to start another new series, and it has failed to show up as well. Any solutions?

I have been watching Silo on AppleTV + with the 4K box. It was listed on the Continue Watching list, so I held the button to get the menu and selected Remove from Recently watched. It disappeared and the other boxes moved over to take its place.

All I had to do was watch it again and it was added back to the continue watching list.

It may depend on the source of the video. If you were using a provider other than AppleTV, you may have to watch it on that provider or give that App permission to be connected to Apple TV.

Try it first with an AppleTV content to see if it works the way I describe. If you are using an APP, such as Starz, go to setting-APPS and find the app and Allow this App to Track you.

Other things to try, go to the System settings and Restart the box. Hopefully, something like a reset will not be needed.

Make sure your firmware is up to date.
