Motion transitions are not reproduced when converted with Compressor

The following question was asked on the Japanese site. This is a difficult question for me, so could someone please help me?

⚫︎Compressorで変換するとmotionトランジションが再現されませんMotion transitions are not reproduced when converted with Compressor

- translation -

When using FCP11.0 and Compressor 4.9, when I created a title using Motion, sent it from FCP to Compressor, and tried to convert it, the movement of the template created using Motion resulted in an unintended conversion.

(Timeline on FCP, file →share →file export on FCP is normal.)

If you preview it in Compressor's batch window before conversion, the behavior will already be unintended.

If anyone has encountered a similar problem or has avoided it through settings, please let me know.

The motion is not complicated, it is just a simple movement where the square becomes larger.

I don’t know why that happens. I can say that I have never been a fan of “send to Compressor”.

Two easy alternatives are:

1) Export with Compressor Settings - add a new destination in FCP, choose Compressor Settings and choose the settings you want. Then you can share right from FCP and don’t even need to open Compressor.

2) Export a master file from FCP and then convert to whatever format you want in Compressor.

Option 1 is best if you just want one output file.

Option 2 is best if you want to use Compressor to produce several different outputs from the same input.

Given those two, I never ever use send to Compressor, except sometimes to do tests when addressing questions on this forum.
