voice over on iPhone XR locked me out

my voice over took over iPhone. it won't allow suri...won't unlock and allow password, no home button to reset on XR and shutting down to reboot won't work. please help

Voice Over- Phone is Locked How to unlock phone when voice over is activated, Siri is not working, and passcode is “incorrect”? To enter the passcode, first tap the number, then double tap the same number. Do this for each number in the passcode and make sure to give a couple seconds between each number. Learned this the hard way.

Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary software glitches. Turn off your iPhone, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

Restart the device. That's it.
