Decreased camera quality after IOS update

Why does Apple constantly lose the trust of its customers? I have 3 iPhones after the iOS update, I saw a significant decrease in the camera, video, and image detail. I first bought an iPhone 12 pro and updated from iOS 16 to iOS 17.1 and seeing the decrease in quality, I just bought a Samsung instead of an iPhone. Then I went back to the iPhone SE 3rd gen and updated it from iOS 15 to 17.3 and the same thing happened again. The quality of the camera had decreased significantly. And I sold it too. I bought an iPhone 15 pro max and its quality was very good. After updating from iOS 17.3 to 18.2, my camera takes pictures in the same quality as the old iPhone SE. How will Apple respond to this? Is it possible to restore my camera to its old quality or is it time to abandon Apple completely? The most important aspect of the iPhone for me is actually its camera. I demand that Apple fix this problem.

Since no one from Apple is here, and we do not represent Apple, it is impossible to say how Apple will respond to this. The decision to abandon Apple is yours and yours only. I have not experienced any decrease in photo quality after updating the iOS on my devices. You have the option to have the device examined by Apple and they can see if there is an issue. You can use the Support link at the bottom of the page here or you can make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store. Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

My job is in the media industry, so I edit photos and videos, and seeing the details in the photos blurred is not a problem for me at all. After I first noticed this decrease on the iPhone 12 Pro, my friend and I tested the next 2 iPhones. We took pictures before and after the iOS update, and as expected, the details in the new iOS are intentionally blurred and reduced in details. Unless you are a media person, you are unlikely to notice this change.

OK, so I’m a media person. I have worked for the AP, International Herald Tribune and the retired director of Florida Center for Creative Photography. I hope I’m now qualified to assist with your issues. 😀😀

Since you’re a media person too, you’ll know this expression, “if there’s no photos, it never happened.”

Please provide examples with exposure settings and format so I can see what’s going on.
