why does my iPhone 16 pro heats so much
My iPhone 16 pro heated so much when I used the camera especially when I am taking a video?

Things that can dramatically increase temperature of outer iPhone case.
Processor intensive apps such as camera or video. Higher the resolution, the harder the processor works.
Graphics intensive applications such as games at high frame rates, high quality etc.
High screen brightness. Backlighting at high brightness generates heat.
High battery discharge rates. Any of the above will cause the battery to discharge at a high rate. Byproduct of high discharge is heat.
No active cooling, means case and components eventually become heat soaked. If high ambient temperature is present, passive transfer of heat to surrounding surfaces or air is reduced and heat builds up internally.
