I want to respond to the thread that was made previously but seemingly has been locked even though almost 800 people have clicked me too.

I want to say it causes me severe anxiety when I see these random emails, it's always important work ones, that appear at the top of my thread, usually on my time off and I have to take a few moments to look into it, try and work out who's sent the email and then realise, nothing's happened. It's exactly as it should be. No one has sent anything but for some reason Apple are pushing certain emails on me. It's none of Apples business.

People will respond when the response is required but for Apple to suggest this message, out of the blue, usually when I am switched off from work, it's caught me out multiple times, a surge of panic thinking "What's this? Who's responding on the weekend? (or the night before Xmas eve in this case) is really meddling with wellbeing.

These sort of things need to be very carefully considered and posts like mine here should be listened to by Apple.

We have a right to expect normal and to switch off without being reminded of things when Apple think we need reminding.

It's random, it's intermittent, it's unsettling and inconvenient.

I've switched it off after it happening multiple times over a year or so and hopefully it will now stop but Apple, you need to hear these sort of messages. It's another step of discomfort for your users, in an ecosystem that you need to protect not meddle with and exploit.
