Why don’t I have an app on my phone for my documents? ????????? is a brand new phone one month old when doing a résumé you should be able to put it into your documents and send it out from there. Why doesn’t this phone have a my documents?

I think the app you're looking for is called Files, and its part of the standard iOS install, so it should be there.
It also ties into your iCloud account to facilitate sharing documents between iOS and MacOS devices. Make sure you're logged in to the same Apple Account on both devices to see the shared files.
