Bookmark management in Safari without having to go to Bookmarks....Edit Bookmarks?
I am running Sonoma 14.7.2
I must be missing something as these are pretty simple tasks(in Chrome, at least) but can't seem to do them in Safari without many more steps. Let's say I want to do one of three things:
- Edit(like editing the title) or delete a bookmark. Do I really have to go to Bookmarks...Edit Bookmarks...then drill down through folder after folder to find the bookmark and then edit or delete it? I have lots of bookmarks and they are organized in nesting folders so that's slow. In Chrome, you can edit or remove a bookmark "inline" while at that site.
- I want to move a bookmark to a different folder. Do I have to go to Bookmarks...Edit Bookmarks...then drill down through folder after folder to find the bookmark and then move it, navigating the nested folders? Or alternatively, add a new bookmark then go find the old one and delete it? Again, a simple task in Chrome.
See the problem- all of these require going to the Edit Bookmarks process and drilling down to the bookmark in question. These are both simple, one-step tasks in Chrome where you can edit, delete or move a bookmark "inline" while on the page. Why does Safari make it so much harder? What am I missing?
Thanks.
