Problems with Apple Trade-in

I received a revised trade-in offer of ZERO for my iPad which left me in PERFECT condition and now supposedly has:

“LCD display burn in damage/streaks/discoloration across the screen"

Something is not right here and I feel powerless. Help seems to be non-existent and so I've had no choice but to get my iPad returned - and if it really is damaged that happened in transit. This has completely undermined my trust in Apple! Has anyone else experienced this?

People have reported getting what they believe is an inaccurate or unfair trade-in value, yes. But there is nothing anyone here can to about the situation, and really nothing you can do about it if Apple Support is unable to assist, as they generally are since trade-ins are handled by a third-party partner, not Apple themselves. Your only real recourse is to get the iPad back and sell it yourself.

This issue of devices lost in transit or what appears to be incorrect valuations is why I highly recommend trading in any Apple device through an Apple Store when there is one nearby.

Regards.
