Without another Trusted Device, you will be locked out of your account permanently. Using a Recovery Key is an optional layer of security that is designed to prevent the use of Account Recovery and only allow access to your account with a forgotten password by providing the 28 character key that is given to you. When setting up the key, you were advised to not lose the key as it will be the only way to access your account without another Trusted Device. There is no way to bypass this, as it is the level of security that was requested by you.

This gives you more control of your account recovery methods and can help prevent an attacker from gaining access to and taking control of your account. However, if you lose your recovery key and can’t access one of your trusted devices, you’ll be locked out of your account permanently.
