Storage still full with 0 photos

my storage is maxed with 96gige of photos. But…. I only have 86 photos on my phone.

How can I fix this?

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18

Maybe there are videos as well ? Any photos in messages or emails ? Any saved in Files app?


Recently Deleted Photos and Videos may remain taking up space in the "Recently Deleted" folder for up to 30 days ... you can restore them, or permanently delete them from there.

(Once permanently deleted they are gone forever.)


If available, you may want to keep your photos on a computer ,and also back them up to an external zip-drive or hard-drive for safe-keeping.

Eg: If you use a Mac: Transfer images in Image Capture on Mac - Apple Support
