My MacBook Pro Arrow Keys are not re-attaching

Recently I took my right arrow keyboard to clean it, but I am having problems with puting it back. Can someone help please? The white thingie doesn't click in.

You probably damaged either the Key Cap or the Scissor mechanism or possibly both (if you have the dreaded butterfly keyboard & the butterfly mechanism is damaged, then game over). You need to closely examine them to see which is true.

If they are damaged, then you can try to see if Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider can replace it for you (Apple does provide both keycap & scissor kits for most models, but I've seen posts on here that indicated Apple & AASPs were not replacing individual keycaps & scissor mechanisms). You may be able to find places online that sell Key Caps & Scissor mechanisms, but be careful since you must get the exact ones that are compatible with your specific Mac and specific keyboard region. Even then, sometimes there are some variations including the "color" of the black on the key.
