Up date for 2019 MacBook air?

How long will get up date my MacBook air Retina 2019. Intel i5 ?

The 2019 MacBook Air is likely to be supported with software updates fort another year or two. It was discontinued in March 2020. Apple will classify it as 'vintage' when it has been discontinued for more than 5 and less than 7 years. After 7 years it will be considered 'obsolete'.


Your MBA does not qualify to run macOS Sequoia, so it is already falling off the newest versions of the OS. The newest it will run is Sonoma.


If the hardware doesn't fail somehow, I would expect you to get 8-10 years of productive use.
