Apples NOTES app. Dragging a NOTES folder in sidebar locks the NOTES app.

When I drag a folder in NOTES sidebar the curser "beach ball" spins and NOTES will not do anything further.

Essentially NOTES app locks until I FORCE QUIT Notes app.

This happens on both my MacBook Pro (Intel, MacOS 18.2), and iPad Gen6 (IpadOS 7.7).

All devices are on same iCloud account.

I restarted iPad and MacBook without fixing the problem.

Does anyone know why this happens, and how to fix?

Apple Notes App Crashing on MacBook Pro After Launch, Works Fine on iPhone MacBook Pro, Sequoia 15.2 (updated 12/12/24), Notes app. When I click the icon to open the app, the Notes window briefly appears for less than a second, then the app immediately crashes and disappears. Notes is jumping around after the recent system update to my MacBook Pro After the new update, My Notes app in Macbook Pro started jumping around whenever I try to edit anything, I think there needs to be an update to either the app or the overall system. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Notes app crashes on MacBook Air Notes crashes on my MacBook Air after upgrading to Sequoia 15.3.2. Notes works fine on my iPhone 12 with iOS 18.3.2. I tried the solution of trashing Notes in an effort to reinstall the app, but I can't get the app in the trash. I control-click on the app and nothing happens at first--no contextual menu. When I control-click a second time it tries to open the Notes app and fails.
