How to change password for the Media & Purchases (secondary) Apple Account when Stolen Device Protection is enabled?
When using a secondary Apple Account (Apple ID) for Media & Purchases, how do you change the password when Stolen Device Protection is turned on?
From a macOS browser, logging into iCloud.com with the secondary Apple Account and navigating to Password results in a pop-up that states Because Stolen Device Protection is turned on, some of your account information can’t be changed on the web. To change your password, use your other Apple devices.
From an iOS device, Settings > Apple Account > Sign-in & Security only applies to the primary Apple Account. Media & Purchases provides a View Account > Apple Account option (pertaining to the secondary Apple Account), but that opens a web browser, reverting to the problem above.
