Using a DMG file as a screensaver on my MacBook Air

Hey! I just received a MacBook Air 15' and downloaded a screensaver for a flip clock app I downloaded and it downloads as a DMG file so when I try to upload it in system settings for my screensaver, it's grayed out, which I assume means it's format is not compatible. What can I do to make it work?

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 15.1

DMG stands for Disk Image, which means it is actually a virtual disk drive. The screensaver you download is inside that DMG file. Double click the DMG file and it should open a window with the screensaver files you are looking for. From there you can install your screensaver.
