How do I fix storage issue on my MacBook Air?

Hello friends! after updating my MacBook Air 2018 from Mojave to Sonoma, I've noticed that my OS storage usage has increased significantly. Could you please assist me in understanding why this is happening and if there’s anything I can do to reduce the storage consumption? Thanks for your kindness :)
