Why does my Apple Watch keep unpairing during setup?

Bought an Apple Watch series 8 trying to connect but it keeps unpairing before end of set up I’ve updated my software?any help will be much appreciated thanks

Did you already try the general troubleshooting mentioned in this related article?

If you can't pair an Apple Watch with your iPhone - Apple Support

Also try these steps:

Make sure that your Apple Watch is connecting properly to its charger.
Restart your Apple Watch.
Restart your paired iPhone.
Try again to update your Apple Watch.

If the update won't start:

Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap General > Storage.
Delete the update file.
Try again to update your Apple Watch.
