When I search my photos by date, eg November, it says I have 1 photo - but I have over a hundred taken on holiday in November. Does anyone know what’s going on? It used to be so easy to search,but it’s now not fit for purpose.

On my phone, when I search for November, I get 921. Many of my pictures are scanned and without dates, so this seems reasonable.
It's hard for us to know what's different. Have you looked at the dates in the info windows of these pictures? Do they really say November?
Has it been a month since they were loaded on to your phone? Were they taken by your phone, or imported in some way?
Have you tried a forced restart?
